 |  | |  Marc is the Senior Consultant responsible for Compensation and Benefits reporting at HRC Associates. Prior to this role, Marc worked for 9 years in the US as well as Canada, providing Financial Reporting & Analytics to the senior management of leading companies in the manufacturing, retail and wireless telecommunications industries. | Marc started his career in Financial Planning & Analysis at Celestica Inc. (then IBM Canada), and Xerox Corp. While at Celestica, he managed the planning and budgeting of compensation expenditure for the 1996 fiscal year. In 2000, Marc made the transition into the field of Business Intelligence, analytics and decision support at The Sports Authority, where he worked alongside a team from Accenture Management Consulting to implement scientific methods that improved the merchandising strategy of the company. Before joining HRC Associates, Marc was Finance Manager at TracFone Wireless Inc.; a position which involved the utilization of Business Intelligence tools toward contract negotiation, decision support, and internal and external reporting, and which saw him manage or direct an assortment of IT projects. As the Compensation and Benefits lead at HRC Associates, Marc assists clients in conducting Compensation and Benefits surveys within local or regional markets. Marc serves as a technical resource for Compensation & Benefits related questions, and is the project manager for the 2009/2010 Executive Compensation Survey in Trinidad & Tobago. In addition to Compensation work, Marc assists companies through Job Evaluation assignments, utilizing the Hay Guide Chart - Profile Method of Job Evaluation. | Marc holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, Ontario, Canada and an MBA from the University of Miami. | | | |
