 |  | |  Hollick has over twenty-five (25) years’ consulting experience specializing in human resources management, compensation, job evaluation, performance analysis, and organization reviews. Hollick formed HRC Associates in 1990, following 10 years consulting experience at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company, and Price Waterhouse. He works closely with Boards and Senior Management in strategic human resources and organisation assignments including Executive Recruitment, Executive Pay, Job Evaluation and Organisational Strategy. Hollick has undertaken work in many industries – Banking; Financial Services; Oil and Gas; Utilities; FMCG, Government and Non-Profit Organisations. | | | Relevant Project Work | - As Project Director for an organization effectiveness study for the Ministry of Health, managed a review of the national health system to test the state of readiness of work processes, systems management, structure and organization culture to implement a comprehensive costing system.
- As Project Director for a major consultancy for the Tourism and Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), led a team of local and international consultants in the organizational design, including structure, jobs, performance management, workflows and tourism information policy.
- As resource consultant, worked along with Hay consultants to design and implement a job evaluation system for the Caribbean Development Bank.
- As Project Director, designed and managed an Outplacement Center for IBM Trinidad. Managed a team of consultants to assist exiting staff in determining career options and re-employment strategies. Assisted management in defining a corporate renewal strategy to retain the loyalty of remaining staff.
- As Project Manager to the Ministry of Labor and Co-Operatives assisted in a restructuring and business transformation exercise to support decentralization initiatives. Responsible of reviewing work design and job content with a view to recommending improvements in structure, design, and decision-making to assist the Ministry in implementing its strategies.
- As Consultant to Johnson & Johnson Limited, assisted Regional Head Office in Puerto Rico in planning a downsizing and outplacement program for the Trinidad company. Advised on the termination of twenty-three persons, which included members of senior management. Advised management on appropriate exit packages, redesigned structures, and logistics associated with terminations. Designed and managed outplacement center activities.
- As Consultant to the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago conducted a comprehensive compensation study for all executives and staff levels. Assisted with the articulation of a relevant pay philosophy.
- As Project Co-Director, along with the Hay, Washington, USA, concluded a job evaluation project for the University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine Campus. This project was successfully completed in a three (3) month period, and involved active Union participation.
- As Project Manager for Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited, designed and implemented a Comprehensive Job Evaluation System and facilitated the design of a new Performance Management System. The former supported a flattened organisational structure, quality orientation, while the latter was designed to facilitate teamwork and process improvements.
- As Project Manager for a reorganization study for Guinness Caribbean Limited, analyzed work flows and reporting requirements in the Finance Department. Challenged the need for multiple reports to Head Office in London. Determined critical reporting requirements and reorganized the department to function via increased use of technology.
